Avoid the possibility of joint failure in your chairs, stools, or log furniture with this clever expanding cutter and wedge-ring system. The high-speed steel Tenon-Lok cutter features spring-action blades that flare out at the base, creating a dovetail-shaped round mortise. The sharpened tapered steel wedge-ring then sits in the flared mortise, expanding the tenon with minimal splitting as it gets driven into place. The resulting joint will never come apart, and is completely immune to weather related expansion and contraction. Biscuit Cutter Gauge

This gauge shows the exact width and depth of sizes 0, 10 and 20 biscuits slots, allowing you to determine which biscuit size will fit before cutting (and potentially blowing out an edge). Once correctly positioned, the pencil slots allow you to perfectly center your marks. Gauge shows actual cut, which accomodate the swelling of the biscuit once glue is applied.
