The MicroPlane Rotary Shaper is an excellent tool for shaping anything that you would use a belt sander or a drum sander for. This tool pulls off stock in chips, not dust, keeping the air clear and leaving a nice look on your stock. It also drops chips from the bottom of the tool. When using the follower, it allows for repeatability as the woodworker can trace the same pattern using this bearing follower which fits both the 1″ & 2″ rotary shapers.

Released in 1992, 1993, and 1994, respectively, this trio provides a remarkably in-depth analysis of the bow from its construction to its correct use. Numerous types of bows and arrows from all over the world are discussed by leading experts in the field. The emphasis here is on the history of these weapons and methods for building them from scratch, just as they were made before the advent of firearms. Though this might not find a huge audience, it is nonetheless an excellent series. Copyright 2000 Reed Business Information, Inc.

The 8″ Snap-In is a hybrid improvement of the R-Squared & the small & medium versions of our hand tools. They allow for delicate work without having to worry about applying too much pressure & breaking the tool. The 8″ Snap-In features the replaceable reversible blade insert design. Changing blades is done without tools by firmly “snapping” the blade out & back in. The addition of a finger rest adds increased pressure control. Designed to cut hardwood, softwood, masonite & manmade panels.
Ideal for coarse grinding, rasping or aggressive material removal of wood, hardened adhesives, masonry and more in small, tight areas.
The square small, medium, and large Microplanes are designed for general shaping and smoothing where larger blades will not fit. They are also excellent for cutting flat bottomed notches and triangular grooves. The handle is included with each. No. 30012:
