Powerful magnets lock the Grip-Tite guide solidly in position on any cast-iron or steel tabletop. As the board is pushed between the Grip-Tite guide and the fence, flexible polycarbonate feather blades force the board down against the fence, keeping it in place. Now, narrow boards can be cut, shaped, or jointed without putting your hands within a foot of the blade–and that makes your hands and fingers very happy.
The hardwood handle and magnetic base give you an extra measure of safety, especially when working with short and thin pieces. Its totally tool-free without knobs to tighten. Just place the featherboard in the proper position and youre ready to go!
